    Lovingly restored with great attention to detail, this much-loved family holiday home was purchased by the current owners just before lockdown. They spent precious weeks here enjoying the sea air and time together — a rare and special break from their busy lives out of town. Now, they have opened the doors for others to enjoy the space just as much.

    The heart of the home is the open-plan lounge and dining area, where high ceilings and exposed rafters create a relaxed, spacious feel. It’s the perfect base for a long weekend or an extended summer break.

    Just a short walk from Pizzarella, the Kariega slipway and Kariega Blue-Flag Beach, this property is superbly located and and yes, it is also within easy walking distance of High Street, perfect for grabbing a quick MM takeaway coffee. It is a popular spot and availability is limited — so if you see it free, book it.

    Designed with relaxation in mind, the living and dining space features open rafters and high ceilings that create a light, airy atmosphere. It is the ideal spot for long weekends or summer holidays, especially during December and January.

    There are two inviting outdoor areas: one with a covered veranda, built-in braai and outdoor seating — perfect for laid-back lunches or evening gatherings. Inside, the spacious dining table seats up to 8 people, making it easy to entertain. Oh yes and do not forget the little braai pit too and an outdoor shower tucked away at the back, perfect to wash off the sand.

    The home sleeps eight in total. Two bedrooms with double beds share a bathroom on one side of the house, while the third bedroom (with two single beds) and another bathroom sit on the other. Both bathrooms have been smartly renovated.

    An added bonus is the separate cottage, offering a cosy open-plan layout with a double bed, en suite bathroom and small seating area. Ideal for extended family or visiting friends.

    With limited use backup power - you will not be in the dark.
